Burgenland, Austria.  Unfined and unfiltered Blaufränkisch from the village of Rust on the hills beside Lake Neusiedl. High-toned red fruits on the nose carry onto a palate that shows black pepper spice and a gravel note, with firm texture and vibrant natural acidity.

Very light and fresh feeling in the palate; a crisp, clean flow of pure-feeling fruit that sits delicate and lacy in the palate. Tannins are barely there, but help the wine find fringes.
