Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon from Avery and Vortmann vineyards (72%) with an unusually high Merlot component (28%) for this vintage from Rise and Avery Blocks. Coonawarra, South Australia. Deep rich red in colour, the nose in intense with aromas of ripe cassis. Liquorice, and some spicy leather notes, combined with fine smokey French oak.
