Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Intense lime and citrus aromas are joined by orange blossom, wet steel and mineral notes. Concentrated lime, lemon and orange rind flavours are delivered with ample textural volume and power over a chalky talc and steely mineral back drop. Terrific drive and zesty acidity finishing long and scrumptious.
'You get intensity of fruit flavour, and then you get a stony aspect to the finish. This riesling is both moreish and sophisticated – the best combo. It tastes of lime juice and mandarin before heading into pebble and lime-leaf territory. It's excellent all around, the grip of the finish a welcome surprise. Drink by 2034'.
