Reviews
"Demonstrates why blends matter, and even more so why Mediterranean grape varieties are so well suited to this part of the world. Vivid, deep purple hues. Red cherry, wild raspberry, fennel seed, earth and spice aromas are welcoming, fresh and vital. The palate is supple and even with a brisk acid crunch. So good, so more-ish. Terrific value." "Blend of Barbera, Tempranillo, Dolcetto, Refosco and Sangiovese. It’s a dry red with plenty of juicy fruit flavour – though there’s more to it than that. Indeed when I use the word "plenty”, I should also say that it’s made in a light- to medium-weight style. Fruit is the main game but it’s not heavy or dense. Dried herb and floral notes add plenty of interest and the finish has a lovely dryness to it. In short, there’s plenty to enjoy here." "Got mates popping round for pizza? Have this little beauty ready to rock and roll. The blend of barbera, tempranillo, dolcetto, refosco and sangiovese from the Alpine Valleys is juicy but savoury all at once. Italy in a bottle."
