This is a
rich red wine from Sicily. It's 90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Cappuccio
with 13% abv. From volcanic soil this elegant Sicilian red has a wet-stone and
redcurrant perfume, with a little spice developing on the palate. The famous
native Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes grown on high-elevation
volcanic slopes of Mount Etna produce a rich and complex wine with a great
minerality and flavoursome aromas such as red fruit, herbs, spices and
liquorice.
