The 2018 vintage, according to fifth-generation winemaker Stephen Henschke was one 'graced by wonder', and it celebrates several significant Henschke milestones, including 60 years of Hill of Grace and 150 years of Henschke family winemaking, which now spans over six generations.
It also marks the 66th release of Mount Edelstone Shiraz, which has been crafted by the Henschke family since 1952 and is arguably the longest consecutively produced, single-vineyard wine in Australia. Planted in 1912 in the Barossa’s Eden Valley, the dry-grown, ungrafted Shiraz vines are now over 110 years old.
