The nose opens with aromas of blueberry, black cherry, cassis, milk chocolate and blonde roast coffee.

PALATE
The palate is rich, creamy and full and complemented with flavors of black pepper, forest floor, black olive and warm oak spices.

The winery is best known for crafting classically structured Cabernet Sauvignon from pedigreed sites, including the iconic Bosché and Sycamore vineyards. Freemark Abbey competed in "The Judgement of Paris” blind tasting in 1976 and was the only winery with both a red and a white wine represented.
