The wines we produce all have strong varietal character with excellent flavour intensity. Our flagship Bellbrae Estate wines are the pinnacle of our releases. Made only in the better years they exhibit the best of our vineyards plus high levels of care and commitment in the winery. Quality French oak and traditional winemaking techniques add to the excellence of this range. They are wonderfully drinkable now but are all made to benefit from further cellaring.
Another classic from the Bird Rock stable. This Pinot Noir exhibits damson and truffle notes with a streak of leafy whole bunch ferment character. Red berries abound on the palate along with the same deep plum notes that are present on the bouquet. It is graceful, fine and has a bit of new school sass thrown in. If you like it bold, ripe and youthful then drink in the next 2-4 years. For more mature characters, buy it and lay down – the Bird Rock has a reputation for rewarding time spent in the cellar.
