The Champagne House of Forget-Brimont is based in Ludes, a small village with Premier Cru classification in the heart of Montagne de Reims, one of the most prestigious terroirs in the Champagne region. Led by 6th generation family member, Michel Forget, the Maison works 20 hectares with Grand Cru (Mailly-Champagne, Verzenay) or Premier Cru (Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes, Montbré, Sermiers, Taissy, Villers-Allerand) classification, mainly planted to Pinot Noir.
Champagne Forget-Brimont Premier Cru Rosé NV
40% Pinot Noir (6% as red wine from the Champagne region), 40% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. Dosage 10g/L.
Between 40 and 50% of reserve wines are used in order to ensure consistency.
This is a very engaging Champagne to be served with an assortment of wild berries and a light Sabayon or a fresh fruit soup. Also lovely with quail, game with cranberries or even foie gras.
