Their long standing relationship with their growers has ensured consistently excellent quality for each Fat Bastard varietal, vintage after vintage.
APPEARANCE
Medium purple hue.
AROMA
Ripe blackberry & black cherry with hints of fresh tobacco.
PALATE
Upfront, it is all juicy and dark fruited - ripe plum, tangy blueberry with a touch of ribena sweetness - but to follow, a hint of smoky cured meatiness and fine chalky tannin serve to make the finish savoury yet muy refrescante.
FOOD MATCHING
MEAT. Well suited to a variety of meats - ranging from cured to roasted game. For all those herbivorves out there try pairing with foraged mushroom dishes.

VINIFICATION
Fermented in open stainless steel vats on skins for 14 days. Gentle pressing off skins via airbag press.
MATURATION
Matured in an selection of old French oak. Bottled to screwcap to retain freshness.
