Monterra wines are crafted from premium fruit grown in the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula regions of South Australia.
The estate vineyards are located on Monterra Road, at the southern end of the cooler Adelaide Hills, high above the outskirts of McLaren Vale. In contrast, the Fleurieu Peninsula vineyards enjoy a milder, maritime climate whilst the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale fruit is sourced from vineyards planted in the warmth of ancient soils in the heart of the valley floors.
The vineyards are vastly different in their climate, topography, geology, elevation and aspect. This enables Monterra to select those grape varieties that are best suited to the particular region and provides them with interesting diversity in their wine portfolio.

Monterra Sauvignon Blanc 2022
Sauvignon Blanc is the much loved hero varietal of the Adelaide Hills. From our own high altitude vineyards, this wine smells of fresh cut meadow hay, snowpeas and citrus.
The palate is fresh with lime, passionfruit and spring wildflowers, a soft mid palate and a crisp, mineral finish.
