Pazos de Lusco
The gently rolling land provides good drainage and optimum exposure to the sun and consists of different types of soil: chalk, granite, clay and sandy. Natural methods are used here, from selecting and picking the grapes right through the careful vinification process, so as to create wines that express the best of each of the terroirs and vineyards. An exceptional combination of land, climate and grape variety; high quality Albariños characterised by freshness and minerality.
WINE DESCRIPTION
This wine is produced from vineyards from the As Neves region. The vineyards were planted more than 25 years ago and produce 4.500 kg by hectare. Once received to the winery the best bunches are chosen on a selection table. Following a short maceration the grape is pressed very lightly in order to maintain the varietal flavours. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled deposits. After fermentation the wine remains in the deposit on its natural lees for 6 months in order to give the Albariño and more round and bodied palate.
TASTING NOTES
