The source for these wines is the Green’s Vineyard located in the heart of the iconic Barossa Valley. Sitting east of Tanunda, at the foot of the Barossa ranges, the eclectic mix of soils provides the personality for these wines. Planted to Shiraz and Grenache, the Green’s Vineyard pays homage to the traditions of the Barossa Valley albeit in a modern way.

Shiraz Grenache Mataro, more commonly called SGM, is a wine style that marries the berry and chocolate Shiraz characters with floral Grenache and smokey spice Mataro notes. All the batches have been individually fermented and matured to allow for the final blending to maximise the characters and quality.
A bright aromatic wine, the key to its success lies in the combination of the flavours and textures of this wine. Generally blended early to capture the freshness of the Grenache, this SGM blend is a bright, fleshy and sumptuous wine. Ready to drink now, careful cellaring will continue to reward with the evolution of more savoury flavours and aromas.
