The Stoneburn vineyards are situated in the heart of the Wairau Valley in Marlborough on a stony riverbed site. Founded in 1989, Stoneburn focus on producing quality wines at an affordable price for every day drinking. I tasted their following last week are both exceptional value for money.
The Stoneburn Pinot Noir has medium body with strawberry and black cherry fruit aromas. The palate combines the flavours of black cherry, spice and subtle French oak to produce a soft full wine. This is outstanding drinking for the price.
