Baxendale's Vineyard
The ripe, small-berried bunches were hand-picked from Rows 16-20 of Baxendale’s vineyard which was un-irrigated, 570 metres high in the Whitlands hills.
With dark ruby colour and a bouquet of ripe blackberry and dark fruits and some liquorice and eucalypt tones, the wine was matured in new (30%) and young French oak barriques for 22 months; these rich and warm flavours are enhanced by subtle oak characters and fine tannins. Production: 220 cases
