Aroma
Slightly closed after opening and discrete to the nose, when tasted this Côte de Léchet owns a very pronounced floral character, all white flowers.
Palate
The silex, characteristic aroma of a mineral wine, is followed by an aftertaste of candied fruits.
Food Matching
Will go perfectly with shellfish as well as a subtle fish like sea bream or bass.
Vintage Notes
A very healthy vintage that found its maturity during the 3rd week of September. This vintage, caracterized by a both dry and hot spring, had extraordinary flowering conditions that showed very optimistic production potential. Summer weather forecast proved to be less promising with cooler temperatures and an increase in rainfall. Sanitary pressure however stayed relatively low on the entire surface of our vineyards. Warm and sunny weather accompagnied harvest and proved to be a final touch for the maturity of the grapes.
