Tasting Notes
Color:Deep, dark red
Nose:An expressive nose of summer berries, cherry, black olive and spice.
Palate:Medium-bodied showing elegance and restraint. Redcurrant, earth and creamy oak with bright acidity and fine chalky tannin.
Maturation:18 months in one and two-year-old French oak
Style:An accomplished example of Eden Valley Merlot. Finessed with layered complexity offered through integrated French oak maturation. Approachable now with mid-term cellaring potential.
Cellaring Potential:Drink now but will age gracefully over the next six to eight years.
