Sourced from the best possible fruit from the Estate vineyards in Eden Valley, Springhill wines are elegant expressions of our winemaking ethos, employing low-input winemaking and minimal handling to allow the fruit to speak for itself.
Tasting Notes
Color:Bright brick red
Nose:The nose is warm and inviting; plum, redcurrant,
earth and chocolate.
Palate:The palate is medium to full-bodied with bright, juicy fruit. Mixed berries, red fruits and bramble. Clean acidity and soft, chalky tannin round out the finish.
Maturation:12 months in French oak.
Style:A rich and juicy Merlot bursting with distinct characters, vibrant fruit and velvety softness – a well balanced and rewarding wine.
Cellaring Potential:A drink now style that will cellar for four to six years.
