Banks Road Vineyard is a small family run winery and vineyard on the Bellarine Penninsula. Established by William and Avanelle Derham in 2002, they have approximately 13.5 acres of vines at Banks Road. They grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz varieties. The Banks Road range are now produced predominatly from their own vineyards but they continue to work closely with their growers and have created two new labels to enable them to continue to work together.
A classic cool climate Sauvignon Blanc, with lifted lemon and passionfruit nose and fresh lemon flavours on the palate through to zippy acid finish. Fermentation in old oak barriques gives a creamy smooth dimension to the wine.
