Überblanc Riesling is attributed to the über 2001 harvest Nick Glaetzer experienced in the town of Forst, in the Pfalz region of Germany. Working with Stephan Müller at Weingut Eugen Müller, Nick learned first hand winemaking techniques used by the Germans in crafting elegantly structured rieslings with harmonious fruit and acid balance. The Tasmanian grapes sourced for the 2015 Überblanc Riesling display the core elements of juicy mineral acid and subtle citrus flavours, highly regarded traits in quality riesling.
