The term "AOC Alsace Grand Cru" indicates a wine of superior quality. Grand cru wines must be produced from grapes harvested by hand and grown in strictly defined vineyard areas, in this case the area known as HATSCHBOURG. They are gastronomic wines par excellence and an Alsace Grand Cru wine can accompagny every course on the menu.

Limited yields produced for higher quality. Single-cane vines. 7,000 vines per hectare. Traditional working of the soil. Limited treatment of vines.
Grapes are exclusively hand picked.
Slow crushing of grapes to preserve the character of the wine. Fermentation at 18°C to 22°C.
