Mount Gisborne Wines is dedicated to producing high quality, hand fashioned Burgundian style wines. The owners, David and Mary Ell, under the tutelage of Master Winemaker Stuart Anderson have been producing quality wines since 1991. This boutique winery flies under the radar, as Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine discovered recently: "Given the quality of recent releases, it is difficult to understand...the wines are not only excellent, they are exceptional value." Tasting Notes
Obviously a good vintage in the Macedon Ranges; this wine has great energy, line and length to its perfectly articulated chardonnay flavours of grapefruit, white peach and nectarine, oak merely a vehicle. 94 points, James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion, 2012 Edition.
