The Vieux Naudin pays tribute to the Traver’s family ancestors who have produced generation after generation of winemakers. Grown In the heart of Saint Michel de Fronsac, the wines highlight the terroir.
Tasting Notes
70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet - Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc: Perfumed dried herb, almost like lavender, red fruits, earthiness. Medium bodied showing attractive balanced acid and light chewy grip with some stony/graphite like character and a clean finish. Not very long, admittedly, but satisfactory. Typical style, good vintage and a thoroughly enjoyable drink. Pretty much spot on at the price point.
