Niro
From the mountains of Majella and Gran Sasso in Chieti, to the rolling hills of Ortona leading down to the shores of the Adriatic Sea, the vineyards of the Abruzzo offer a variety of terroirs, caressed by sea breezes and mountain currents, providing ideal temperature ranges for healthy vine growth. Thanks to a singular combination of soil, exposure, climate and circumstances, few locations are better equipped for the production of fine quality wines. From here we bring to every corner of the world the magic of our wines, the truest expression of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Pecorino.
Tasting notes
The wine is an intense ruby red with a hint of dark cherry. The nose is elegant with cherry and wild fruit over turns with notes of black pepper, cocoa and soft balsamic. The palate is well balance with stylish fleshy fruit and complex fine tannins. The finish is attractively long.
