Patrizi
The Manfredi Family has a long and determined history in wine. Even in the Second World War, they delivered wine by wagon to grow the family business and today it is a thriving Cantine that adopts both modern and traditional practices to produce true to style and varietal examples of wines from the Langhe.
Tasting Notes
The Nebbiolo is one of the typical species of vines of Piedmont and in the several grape growing areas gives origin to the greatest Piedmontese wines, known all over the world and a source of pride of the national wine-making industry. Its name derives from "fog”, because being this a vine of the third period, it shall be harvested in the late autumn when this meteorological phenomenon is more frequent.
The Nebbiolo d’Alba, like all the wines that come from the Nebbiolo species of vine, is a noble product, of a good tannic content and excellent inclination to ageing. In the course of maturation this wine smooths its harshness and it becomes harmonic and wide, while preserving its excellent making and structure.
