At dryness the wine was pressed, settled overnight and into French oak barrels.
The wine was left in barrel with no sulphur and went through natural malo fermentation the following spring. Because of the power and concentration of this wine it was left in barrel for over 2 years . The long oak maturation softened the tannins and gave expression to the powerful fruit from this exceptional vintage. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration.
