Formation, reddish brown loam, small pebbled bedrock. This provides excellent soil drainage and water retention properties at the vine roots level.
COLOUR:
Bright red with vibrant purple hues.
AROMA:
Fresh berry fruits, cool mint edge.
PALATE:
Lively, flowing Shiraz red fruits and firm tannins, medium body and an earthy finish. Minimal oak influence, youthful and natural, with nice subtle elements of florals and spice to match the vibrancy of the fruit.
Wood fired lamb pizza with chargrilled vegetables and goat milk feta.
CELLARING
This wine will gain complexity over 5 to 8 years if cellared properly. If opening in its youth, it will benefit from decanting a couple of hours prior to serving.
