Tasting Notes
Appearance:
Dark Cherry/ Garnet Red.
Nose:
Dark chocolate, blackcurrant, rosemary and cedarwood.
Palate:
Mulberry and dark chocolate plushness come through upfront. It tastes and feels like a classic SW WA example, but with a bit more jubey fruit and less dried herbs than some. The finish shows some fine, but gravelly/mineral tannins.
Cellaring:
Drinking very well from release, but for those who appreciate maturity, it should happily be drinking well to 2020, perhaps
beyond.
