Warm straw colour. An expressive nose with aromas of nougat, lychee and hints of tropical fruits, tempered with a soft creaminess. The palate is round and full yet dry and structured, with moderate alcohol and balanced acidity. Cellaring Best enjoyed whilst youthful.
Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Quartier is a word which means neighbourhood in French. The fruit for this wine is sourced from a neighbouring vineyard in Red Hill.
Winemaking
Whole bunch pressed and fermented without yeast inoculation, in stainless steel tanks and a small proportion of old French barriques. The wine is matured for 4 months prior to bottling.
