Weingut Stift Göttweig
Since the 11th century, Stift Göttweig has been engaged in winegrowing in the Kremstal region. Even today, the wines are made according to traditional methods and perpetuate the authentic expression of their origin. Elegant balance and perfect harmony determine this line, making the dry wines ideal food companions.
"On the 16th of November 2007 we picked the physiological extreme ripe grapes with rose-violett colour from the single vineyard Gottschelle. After 41 hours skin contact we fermented with natural yeast. The fermentation was finished on the 6th of January 2008."
Tasting notes
The result is a spicy, concentrated wine – tastes very tobacco with hints of minerals and salty finish. Very Complex.
