King Valley, Victoria. La Zona Sangiovese is deep cherry red in colour.
The nose is rich with dark baked cherry and blackberry aromas which are enhanced with toasted oak influence. Fruity and generous on the front palate, the finish is full of preserved fruit characters and dry savoury tannins for which the La Zona Sangiovese has become recognised.
Medium bodied with moderate acidity, this wine is a perfect match for slow cooked pork belly, lamb shanks or cotechino sausage.
