Peel Estate is one of Western Australia's most prestigious premium wineries and the first in the now growing Peel Wine Region.
Established in 1973 by Will Nairn who continues to delight wine lovers with his remarkable range of red and white wines produced on coastal limestone country in Karnup which is about 70km South of Perth, Western Australia.
The Peel Region
The spread of the region from coastal to inland means that the temperature range and soil type is quite different between each area. Wandering on average is the coldest place in the southern wine regions of Western Australia. Although on summer days the temperature often exceeds that of the Peel coastal area and Dwellingup area, the night and winter temperatures are considerably lower. Wandering also has the least amount of rainfall on average compared to the rest of the region with an annual average of 614.5ml* and Dwellingup has the highest average annual rainfall at 1249.1ml*. Soils range from limestone sands to granite clays.
SHIRAZ
The Peel hallmark red! Museum Release. The Peel Shiraz ages remarkably well and is released as such.
