Airlie Bank is a lightly-oaked, fruit-driven range produced from entirely Yarra Valley fruit. Classically cool-climate in nature these wines show strong varietal qualities. They are produced for everyday drinking or medium term cellaring.
Winemaking
Airlie Bank Pinot Noir was produced from 100% Yarra Valley fruit. Fermented in a combination of stainless steel fermenters and open pots, a number of winemaking techniques were used to give complexity including cold soaking, whole berries & warm fermentation temperatures. The wine was then gently pressed and matured in seasoned French oak for 8 months.
