Winemaker Notes
Parcels of Shiraz grapes from selected wine regions were fermented on skins in static and rotary fermenters with a neutral yeast strain to maximise primary fruit characters. A portion was co-fermented with Viognier to enhance the aromatics and tannin structure. After primary fermentation the wines were soft pressed and underwent malolactic fermentation. They were then aged in American and French oak for six months before being blended and filtered prior to bottling.

A forward type, with earthy, jammy, berry fruit up-front that lead into supple tannins and a lingering silky finish. This old faithful reminds you of the good things in life.

Aromas of plum, mulberry and spice with hints of pepper and integrated vanilla oak.
Palate
Medium bodied with flavours of dark berries, plums, supple tannins and a lingering silky.

Grilled aged rump with roasted potatoes and zucchini.
