Neil has a craftsman's sensibilities coupled with over 40 years experience making wine - and it all shows. The current release wines have a touch more roundness and generosity than previously and it's these subtle on-going improvements that have kept Pauletts at the forefront of Australian wine.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Is wonderful with light green hints. Looks great in the glass with the brilliance of clarity indicating the purity of regional character to come. Typical Polish Hill River with hints of tropicals, lime & citrus evident on the nose - the hallmark of Polish Hill River.
Palate: Is pristine with driving citrus and lime. An underlying minerality and subtle green apple add highlights, whilst the crisp clean and refreshing acid pull the flavours through to a long elegant finish.
Drink now or cellar for 10+ years for those rewarding aged characters.
