Tasting Notes
colour: straw coloured with green hues
nose: mealy complex nose, showing a harmonious blend of nectarine and grape fruit characters, roasted cashew nuts, and well-integrated French oak.
palate: a rich and flavoursome wine, yet shows wonderful restraint and elegance. There is a range of flavours all harmoniously integrated, including ripe nectarine fruit, mealy characters, cedary French oak, and grilled cashew nuts. Lively grapefruit acidity provides a tight and linear structure and a succulent, juicy and lingering finish. Solids during ferment have provided complexity and a lovely texture to the wine.
