Reschke
Reschke's premium, low yielding vineyards are located on the unique Terra Rossa soils, 7 kilometres north-east of the township of Coonawarra, in the Lower South East of South Australia
The vineyard holdings of 360 acres, consist primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon, there is also a selection of Merlot, Shiraz, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
Believing that the quality of wine is largely determined in the vineyard, Reschke's vineyard team employ cutting edge viticulture practices to ensure vines consistently produce outstanding fruit from which Peter Douglas creates his masterpieces.
Bull Trader Cabernet Merlot
The soft approachable structure and almost perfumed fruit characters in a fine medium bodied Coonawarra dry red. The use of very tight grained, older oak has given length and complexity without dominating the plumy Merlot fruit.
This wine shows classic finesse of Coonawarra allowing it to show its best when still quite youthful. Time in the bottle will see even more complexity with the development of cedary and violet like characters.
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 65% and Merlot 35%

Colour: Very deep ruby red.
Bouquet: Very ripe red berry fruits and spicy oak.
Palate: Full bodied with a warm rich texture. Blackberry and classic minty fruit characters nicely balanced with spicy oak. The palate finishes with toasty oak giving the palate length and richness.
Oak Handling: The Cabernet Sauvignon was twenty four months and the Merlot twenty months in second and third use French and American oak barriques and hogsheads.
