Yarra Valley, Victoria. This wine includes Balgownie Estate’s four clones of Pinot Noir. 777, 114, 115 and MV6. All were hand picked in late February at optimum ripeness.
The grapes went into open fermentation with hand plunging for gentle extraction.
They were aged for 12 months in 100% French oak Barriques, 25% new. Minimal
movement and intervention was key during this time and prior to bottling.
