Winemaker's Notes  


Variety               Merlot

The fruit was picked at optimum ripeness and fermented under cold conditions to preserve primary fruit characters. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in shaved two year old American oak barriques. This has softened the wine and added a further dimension to the flavour without being overtly oak dominant. A great example of an early drinking style with fresh fruit and a soft finish.
