Tasting Notes
The colour has a brilliant deep ruby and violet tone. The wine is strongly fruit driven by lifted ripe plums, blackberry, black cherry and dark chocolate, this wine is also defined by the spiciness of nutmeg and clove spice with balanced dusty vanillin pod. The palate is of full to medium weight with a great intensity of sweet black cherry, plums; and with a softness that fills the palate which has extremely long flavours ending in soft and balanced tannins and a focused finish. This is an excellent example of the great intensity and elegance from the superb 2017 vintage.
