Dog Point Vineyard is a newly established winery situated in the Wairau Valley, the major grape growing region of New Zealand. It combines the considerable wine growing experience of Ivan and Margaret Sutherland and James and Wendy Healy. The philosophy is total involvement by the partners from the vineyard through the wine making process to marketing regionally distinctive and vineyard expressive wines.

Bouquet Intense ripe red fruits infused with violets enhanced by underlying earthy characters.
Palate Richly textured with dense red fruits, the palate shows well integrated oak, excellent tannin balance with a lingering soft finish.
Service Duck, cervena, red meats and especially truffled venison and mushroom pie.
