Dog Point Vineyard, Marlborough
A newly established winery situated in the Wairau Valley, the major grape growing region of New Zealand. It combines the considerable wine growing experience of Ivan and Margaret Sutherland and James and Wendy Healy. The philosophy is total involvement by the partners from the vineyard through the wine making process to marketing regionally distinctive and vineyard expressive wines.

Colour Straw green.
Bouquet Concentrated aromas of tropical and ripe citrus fruits, complemented by lifted hints of lemongrass and guava. Palate Excellent fine texture and juicy acidity with a degree of minerality and a lingering refreshed finish.
Food Match White meats, pale cheeses and seafood - especially scallops, oysters and steamed mussels.
Cellaring Ideally enjoyed as a young wine but may be cellared for several years.
