Marlborough, New Zealand. This Pinot Gris was hand harvested, then gently whole-bunch pressed.It was fermented in stainless steel tank with a small portion in oak barrels.Post fermentation the yeast cells were allowed to settle, and the wine remained on
lees for 4 months, creating a creamy nutty complexity to this delicate feminine wine.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Fresh nashi pears, pink lady apples, delicate and feminine with a hint of creaminess.
Palate
Flavours of nashi pears carries over to the palate, complete with a crunchy acidity balanced with a creamy textural element. The wine is mid-weight and juicy, with good avour persistence to the very end of the palate.
