Please join me on Wednesday evening 5th July at The Royal Society of Victoria, 8 La Trobe Street Melbourne in the Burke and Wills room anytime between 5.30 and 8.00 pm.
There is free off street parking at the venue which can be accessed from three entries - via Victoria Street, La Trobe Street or Exhibition St. Please do not park in the spots marked for ‘Go Get’ vehicles.
Taste the following seriously sensational range of wines, a Kiwi, a Spaniard, plenty of home grown treats plus two of the best Italian wines available in the country, all at super prices on the evening.
* Tenuta Ulisse Pecorino 2016 Abruzzo Italy, a bargain super drinking.
* Port Phillip Estate ‘Quartier’ Pinot Gris 2016 Mornington Peninsula, a gorgeous spicy gris.
* Xanadu Chardonnay 2015 Margaret River, a sublime chardy from an exceptional vintage.
* Warramunda Estate 'Liv Zak' Pinot Noir 2016 Yarra Valley, wonderful valley pinot.
* Winstead 'Lot 7' Pinot Noir 2014 Derwent Valley, Tassie. A hair curling beautiful drop.

* Torzi Matthews ‘Vigna Cantina’ Negroamaro 2016 Barossa SA. A home grown Italian treat.
* Tenuta Ulisse ‘Amaranta’ Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2014 Abruzzo Italy. Top Italian wine scribe Luca Maroni gave this wine 99 points and named it his Best Italian Wine of the year.
* Bodegas Atalaya 'Laya' Garnacha 2015 Almansa Spain. Juicy, earthy, spicy, scrumptious.
* Castelli Estate Cabernet Merlot Great Southern 2015 WA. Simply - a bargain.
* Kennedy ‘Henrietta’ Shiraz 2015 Heathcote. Stunning shiraz from the red Cambrian soil.
* Man O' War 'Dreadnought' Syrah 2014 Waiheke Island NZ. This wine was voted the consumers Best Red at the recent NZ Game of Rhones Tasting.
And to further whet your appetite some tasty nibbles as always to accompany the wines, back by popular demand my ‘poor man’s’ cassoulet is back on the menu along with oysters as they are delicious at the moment, a salad Nicoise, cheeses and more...
Please RSVP to yours truly by email [email protected] or phone 0412 631 480 to enable us to cater for you and do not hesitate to invite family and friends.
Looking forward to your company,
Michael Davey
