An invitation to our first Wineseek tasting of the year.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we have a change of venue.
Our tastings will now be held at The Royal Society of Victoria, 8 La Trobe Street Melbourne in the Burke and Wills room. This is a wonderful space situated at the top of the city only a short stroll from the old venue. There is also free off street parking at the venue.
Please do join us on Wednesday evening 2nd March between 6pm and 8pm at The Royal Society of Victoria and taste an exceptional range of home grown and imported wines, including a number of super new releases.
Taste a magnificent Adelaide Hills Gruner Veltiner from Cape Barren.
Also the newly released Cape Barren Chardonnay 2015, delicious dry and savoury drinking or cellar.
The Alta Pinot Grigio 2013 made by Kate Fletcher is a fantastic take on this classic Italian white.
From Sicily taste the Lamura Grillo 2014, a gorgeous white at an unbelievable price.
A bargain priced mouth-watering 2015 Clare Riesling from Crabtree.
Two French beauties, the Dourthe No1 White 2014 from Bordeaux and the Lavau Cote du Rhone Village 2013.
A Martinborough Pinot Noir from the terrific 2014 vintage, made by the Craggy Range folk, a sensational wine that is stunning value.
A delicious 2014 Spanish Tempranillo from Bodegas Patrochino.
The Mitchell Peppertree Shiraz 2012, everything you expect from a great OZ Shiraz and not to be missed as this wine has been receiving blockbuster reviews.
And a new release from the Shaw and Smith people, from their new label The Other Wine Co. Grenache 2015 is simply delicious!
