A Grenache Sensation.

Tscharke Manrananga Gnadenfrei Grenache 2011.
Not only is the name a mouthful, so is the wine, one of the most extraordinarily gorgeous OZ grenache I have ever tasted and from a very tough year.
I have now shown a number of people who ‘know there wine stuff’ and all have been totally blown away, even non OZ grenache lovers have fallen in love!
This Barossa Valley wine has everything from the beguiling nose and colour, a lovely light red brick colour to the beautifully textured mouth feel. Aromas of dark berry fruit, spicy white pepper and lovely earthy undertones greet the nose. The palate has layers of sweet dark berry fruits, pepper and spice with earthy notes and wine has a long dry sweet and savoury finish.
A seriously stupendous wine - a must try, that will cellar for years.
But be quick - only 275 cases produced of this classic wine.
